U. S. Attorney Benjamin Glassman, satisfy your responsibilities or resign!
1n 2008, Orlando Carter was unjustly prosecuted and convicted by the Federal Government for bank fraud. The Department of Justice (DOJ) alleged Carter had a $4 million loan obligation with National City Bank (NCB) (now PNC Bank). Carter denied the charge and told the truth. Yet, the FBI and DOJ did not listen and failed to conduct a competent investigation.
In his ninth year of prison, Carter asked the Department of Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC), the agency which regulates national banks, to determine if he had this financial obligation. The OCC investigated and issued a finding, supported by admissions by PNC Bank officials, that a $4 million debt did not exist.
Currently, U. S. Attorney Benjamin Glassman, refuses to accept the OCC finding. As such, Glassman refuses truth revealed by another federal agency. Under the law, if a sister agency possesses or discloses a fact, the DOJ is presumed to know the fact. Moreover, the U. S. Attorney has a responsibility to serve as the spokesperson for the entire Federal Government and speak to another agency’s finding. Benjamin Glassman refuses to satisfy this basic responsibility.
Mr. Glassman, if you do not accept the OCC finding that there is no $4 million obligation and correct Carter’s unjust conviction, you must resign!
The End of Justice is the Absence of Truth.
